Marshalls is currently inviting customers to complete a customer satisfaction survey. An invitation to the survey is currently being printed on select receipts.

This is a customer satisfaction survey, meaning it's goal is to gain knowledge and insight into how customers view their experience during their recent visit to Marshalls.

Rewards or "prizes" are often given for completing customer surveys such as this (check your receipt for details). This is what I like to call a "Survey Reward".

"Survey Rewards" are given to you as an incentive to give your valuable feedback as a customer.

If your receipt states that there is a reward (such as a free coupon, or sweepstakes entry) getting your free Survey Reward is simple.

  1. Went to your store at Towson Place on Putty Hill Avenue, Towson, MD 21285. This is with our a doubt my favorite store in MD. The store so very cleanest, well organized and staff wants you to retire. You are greeted by this sweet, older woman who has this big smile on her face ready to help you. All the staff is so very helpful. This store makes me want to come a few times a week.

  2. I must say shopping at Marshalls the other day was a very pleasant experience. I was having a difficult time at the check out, a little slow in finding my credit etJianni, the cashier, was very patient and helpful. Even with the long waiting lines she was very pleasant and friendly with the customers.

  3. I went with a friend to Marshall’s in Modesto, California for yjeir first day of opening after the mandatory closure. There was a line outside to get in. But it moved pretty fast. I was surprised that the store was very well stocked with merchandise. I had checked out other stores in town & their shelves were bear. I ended up buying a lot more then planned but I love everything I got. The check out line was almost out the back door. They had only 3 out of the 5 checkout registers open & the cashers were working as fast as they could to get the customers out of the store. They needed help for sure. But I’ll be back soon. The discounts were very satisfying along with the selection of items.

  4. Was shopping today Marshall’s, 5914 75th st, Kenosha, WI; waiting in line, clerk call number 2 was available, started walking to cashier, someone from store took my place. Found out that it was the manager, they (clerk & mgr) had a conversation and ignored me, #4, became available, clerk was very pleasant, apologized for what happened to me. My complaint is I found mgr and ask her why, first of all she call me hon, how can I help you hon, I wish not to be call hon( short for honey) and I wanted to know why she did that, it’s unprofessional, then she states all I can say is I’m sorry. First, she need to address herself as manager material. Soon it will be Christmas season, America is on edge as it is, with all this hate. All I am suggesting is when a number is called, please let them in, or there will be fights in line. Maybe your mgr need more training. I am a 64 year old women and she talking like she did me a favor by apologizing. Time 13:2254, 05378 70400024. Unfortunate I can’t remember her name, but she ask my name, as I informed her I was going the net.

  5. I shop at Marshalls in Cincinnati Ohio, Colerain Ave. Northgate Mall. I was shopping last Saturday evening. The young girl that checked me out. Was Ebony R. She was the nicest person that I have ever talked to there. She was very patient, Very kind. I really appreciate that kind of service. I am an elderly lady. It was a blessing to be taken care of by a young person that was so kind. Thank you for your time, And please thank her for me.

  6. I have visited the store in Blakeney a couple times now. Amazed with front cashier Shannon. She’s always smiling, very knowledgeable of the store and brings fourth a warm welcoming!

  8. I was there at marshalls in franklin mills mall one day last week and a nice lady Patty helped me with my purchase. I was looking for something for a baby shower also she helped me find sheets. Very nice place and people that work here. I will shop here again.

  9. I purchased an outfit for my grandchild at the Aberdeen WA store recently. Thaydra your
    employee was assisting me. She indicated that there was a headpiece that was part of the outfit. She looked around and could not locate it. She took my phone number and said she would call me if she located it. I do not live in the area and was passing through, but would be returning the following day. About half and hour later Thaydra called me to tell me she had located the headpiece. Her customer service was outstanding.

  10. I visited the lake worth location. Micheal B cheerfully greeted me as I came in then was very friendly at checkout. Amy B helped me in the dressing room she was very sweet and pleasant both are keepers for sure they went the extra mile

  11. At your store in Belton, Kansas, I received the best service from Margarette-dressing and from Marnie-CEC.
    They went out of their way to help me and with a wonderful attitude! I asked them how I could tell someone and they told me to go online. I am doing this, which is NOT my favorite thing to do, because they deserve to be recognized!

  15. I recently visited your Novi Marshall’s and I was completely disappointed at the way I was treated. I don’t recall ever feeling so uncomfortable. One of your sales associates stood at the entrance to the fitting room and stared at me for over 15 minutes, near shoe section. I tried to just ignore her but I finally decided to just remove myself from the situation.
    I have always enjoyed shopping at your store in fact all of your stores in Southeastern Michigan, your staff has always been helpful and polite but I can honestly say I will avoid this particular location in the near future.
    In hindsight I wish that I had ask to see your store manager but as I was paying for my items, the cashier and informed me of how to lodge a complaint via the internet. I was so overwhelmed at her politeness and sincere regards that I just decided to leave your store.

  19. I’ve been shopping at the Oxnard store for about a good 10 years. Today’s experience was awful due to associate APRIL. My daughter & I arrived & saw new pillow spray scents. We sprayed a few( apx 4-5 sprays) She said, “Don’t spray perfume some people may have allergies” ( no one around us either) No sign, no tester sprays. I responded” How are we suppose to buy a scent if we don’t know what it smells like?” She quipped, you just take a chance. She then runs to a lady, who then happens to be her manager. Says, something beneath her tongue. Mind you right in front of us. So manager says, yeah we don’t do that, don’t spray?? 2 sides to every story, mind you this all in 7 minutes entering store.
    So the manager goes about her business to the back of store. I still shop. She has a smirk, I asked her” Are you normally rude to customers? She responded, ” No JUST YOU, just because I told you not to spray”.. Wow, I worked for Verizon for 10 years, customer service , escalations etc.. April also was sarcastic & kept her smirk on her face. I did advise her about karma, she then sarcastically said” Thank You” . When you are an employee of a store, usually respect is part of your job position. Strong sarcasm can be dealt with if you’re in good relations. As for this encounter , which is store 21, Survey # 0421031915. This will be going high above management. April shouldn’t be in customer service, I spoke to manager advised her about her unprofessional comment. I don’t think any customer, especially a 10 year regular should ever experience this from a street ghetto service representative. We all know, ” What goes around, comes around. Good Luck April, you need a TON more training, if not , you should just stay in the stock room.

I visited marshalls on 18th and 6 ave in manhattan love this store on Wednesday august 30 an associate I believe who’s name was Jennifer Spanish looking with black short hair pretty lovely young lady and so helpful I was looking for a shirt that I could not find in my size when she assisted me she promised she would keep looking and if she did she would find me at the moment I didn’t believe her but that young lady found the shirt and look for me all over the store, she found me at the register right before checking out I got my top and promised her I’d take the survey
